The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra plays instruments made from analog gas and electricity meters, in Abbey Road Studios, in this ad for SmartEnergyGB. They're introducing smartmeters and are giving the old meters a royal sendoff. "We're marking the end estimated energy bills, smartmeters will be everywhere by 2020." The custom-made instruments, repurposed from old gas and electricity meters welded together, sound surprisingly good, it's magical. See also the behind the scenes
