Fox Spots Marketing Wins at Sports Emmy Awards

Fox Sports Marketing won three Sports Emmy Awards, presented for the 32nd year by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, on Monday night at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Fox Sports Marketing picked up the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Sports Promotional Announcement – Episodic for the three-spot NFL “It’s Good to Have a Ring” campaign featuring FOX NFL Sunday Talent Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson, Curt Menifee, Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Frank Caliendo and Jay Glazer, with celebrity cameos by Usher and Hugh Laurie. The campaign was directed by Smuggler’s Renny Maslow and edited by Paul Martinez, and Greg Scruton at Arcade Edit.

“This campaign really was able to capture the fun and irreverent side of the NFL on Fox guys,” says Robert Gottlieb, Fox Sports Marketing SVP and Group Creative Director. Fox Sports Marketing also won Sports Emmys for Outstanding Live Event Audio / Sound for NASCAR on Fox and Outstanding Sports Promotional Announcement – Institutional for MLB All-Star Game “Sand” produced by The Mill.
