It might not be Gary Numan, David Bowie, Rocky Horror Picture Show meets Eat The Rich and "The Birds", but it reminds me of the raw 80s aesthetic when ideas were bigger than budgets and CGI was only for Hollywood. Directed by SSION, 'Queen' is the first single taken from the upcoming album 'Too Bright'. We hitchhike, clad in a sequined gold top, through the industrial part of town where piglets fill the elevators and rooms are full of shadow birds attacking us. Mike Hadreas then dances on the table in the boardroom meeting where all the suits are eating actual giant shrimp, and our fellow traveller the overly made up blond is now the pink-nailed bosswoman. It all ends when Mike is lead to the edge and a suicide fall turns all the darkness into bliss - and Mike himself into a pile of feathers.
