Link Lust: Banned FB G+ ads, John Winsor on startups, ladies hate the V-ads from Summer's Eve

John Winsor posts "It’s About What You’re For Not What You're Against" regarding startups.

That’s what I love about start-ups. It’s a clean slate. You start with a vision, which includes being different than something else, then you race like hell to learn as much as you can. Then you pivot. Only then can you discover what you're for.

Ladies seem to hate the campaign with the talking ladies bits. Except me, I don't really care. Example: Bella Sugar sums it up with: "You know it's bad when the suggestion that your vagina has something innately wrong with it is the least offensive part of a commercial." Okay. You're against intimate soap as a concept, not just this ad specifically.

I'm not really getting that idea from this one, the soul sista V is saying regular soap makes her feel bad. This is actually very very true. Of course you don't need soap down there but sometimes (hi aunt Flo!) you might want some. The puns though, "lady wowza", puh-lease. Don't do that. Far worse was the Summer's Eve ad where they suggest you wash your coochie before asking for a raise.

Dan Tynan decides to go undercover and find out if Facebook is really banning all ads that promote Google+? The short answer is yes they are.
