Adland is the Mecca for adgrunts worldwide. It's an advertising site made by the adgrunts, like you, who populate it. More than just a blog (see a short history of weblogs [1]), Adland is also a commercial archive, forum and general gathering place for Adgrunts. Back in 1996 it began it's life as a humble website in Geocities SoHo hood (remember them?) and in 2000 it evolved into what you see today - with Adgrunt user accounts, RSS feeds, forums and dated entries.
In April 2006, Adland turned 10. And it's still here, going strong, thanks to the adgrunt community. Through all different layouts and iterations, the content has always been - ads, ad rants, ad books, badland, ad links and a good ol' ad time. Adland is quite possibly the grandpappy of all advertising blogs.
They say that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. And that's true of Adland, because it is also a community blog. We are trade press made up of the trade adgrunts (you) and the ad obsessed (you again). Think of Adland's front page as the international blog for any interesting news, gossip, ad critiques, etc. for adgrunts everywhere.
Adland can be reached via the domains: commercial-archive.com and ad-rag.com. All correspondence comes from the latter (ad-rag).
