Target has a new spot out that uses a version of "Hello Goodbye" by the Beatles, which is causing some chatter [1] about the commercial use of the song. On the screen "Goodbye" becomes "Goodbuy".
In other Beatles/advertising news, MacDailyNews [2] is reporting that Apple has bought air time during the Super Bowl which "rumor says they'll use to announce an three-month exclusive deal to electronically distribute some Beatles music via the iTunes Store." The rumor comes from Carl Howe [3], who thinks there may be more to the spot than just the announcement of the Beatles deal.
