Rainbow touch on Visit West Hollywood's Annual Travel Guide via M&C Saatchi

By the looks of it, M&C Saatchi let their designer have free reign, to show us Weho, the predominantly gay neighbourhood in the middle of L.A where naturally, creativity, design, style and all the happening nightclubs center. This is an annual travel guide that shows off the area's 1.9 miles of energy and style in the heart of LA. It looks so perfectly LA it's almost painful, with that discreet rainow touch on the black cover, so on fleek, unlike the use of the expression "on fleek". This may not be a design or look that people in Milan find fresh right now, but for the west coast USA this style this is spot on perfect.

Working with and for the client Visit West Hollywood, M&C Saatchi developed the guide. It's now available in print and digital editions, and it builds on M&C Saatchi LA's bold "Go WeHo" brand campaign for Visit West Hollywood, which launched across channels last year. The guides will be distributed worldwide to potential tourists and travel bookers, and online at just holler here if you want one.

"Visit West Hollywood commissioned M&C Saatchi LA to design a new look for our annual travel guide. Because of the creative and colorful reputation of our city, we felt we needed an agency equally as creative and colorful to visually represent West Hollywood," explains Jonathan Mattis, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Visit West Hollywood. "Since tourism is the number one source of tax revenue for West Hollywood, it's never been more important to have strong and dynamic branding and M&C Saatchi LA was the ideal partner to achieve this."

"With the Go WeHo campaign, we wanted to celebrate the vibrancy and spirit of West Hollywood and welcome everyone to discover the allure of this iconic and legendary place," notes Maria Smith, Creative Director, M&C Saatchi LA.
