Saatchi Sydney CD Malcolm Poynton To Lecture On

Fresh from M&C Saatchi London, Malcolm Poynton will be hosting a creative workshop specifically designed to
impart his international creative experiences to a whole new segment of advertising professionals.

Poynton explains: "There are many unrecognized young creatives out there who will eat the world with their talents. I can't wait to find out." the workshop is an initiative of The YoungGuns International Advertising Award and will also feature Richard Bullock, Art Director, Cliff Freeman & Partners, New York and other Award

ARCHIE & GLAMAZONS TO HOST YOUNGGUNS ADVERTISING AWARD CEREMONY

Australia's most magnificent method actor and TVC cameo, Archie Penn, will be the MC of the YoungGuns 2001 Award
Night at Sydney's MCA. Currently appearing in the Jay Jay's TVC's, Archie is renowned for his
artistic versatility and gritty sensitivity. Archie will present the YoungGuns Awards assisted by two
purpose-built glamazons who will also function as his personal bodyguards.



The YoungGuns Award Ceremony can be experienced at the Museum Of Contemporary Art's top floor harbour view
gallery, at Circular Quay, on Friday October 19, 2001.



The evening's festivities at begin @ 9pm. Award presentations will be completed swiftly, then the pro-club DJs
and "artistic" activities will kick-in. A gourmet breakfast will be served @ 4am, before the night concludes in
morning networking glory @ 6am!



Tickets are only $165 (including GST) and there are only a limited number of places, so contact

I've actually been (un) or fortunate enough not to see any Campaign Briefs lately. Though there are no shortages of prada-glass wearing CD's in europe neither. Maybe that's where he picked it up? He we do it, simply because it always rains. ;)

Actually - hey anon - did you go? And see him speak? I'm very curious to what the first young guns was like.
