advertising for Muslims

It strikes me that the powers that be in the communications business are missing a trick. Why hasn't (to my knowledge) anyone set up an advertising agency that targets Muslims. There are more muslims on the planet that Christians and Jews put together. They have special needs and need to be spoken to on a level that befits their beliefs. The fellows to do this will reap fine rewards.

"There are more Muslims on the planet then Christians and Jews put together" - this is patently untrue. While there are relatively few Jews (less then 20 million) in the world, there are well over a billion Christians, while there are only about 900 million Muslims. Check your figures.
Of course, thanks to enforced Athiesm in China, there are more Athiests then any other religion, over 1.4 billion.

uhh, that small group, so yeah, it's probarly a bad idea to make Muslims as a special target group... there is nothing to miss out on here... ... Daaah.

Hmmm, an inaccuracy of a mere 100million does not really effect the original proposition. I would however welcome potential strategies for approaching this target market. I look forward to seeing the first student portfolio aimed in this direction.

Oh, I wasn't saying that Muslims weren't worth targeting; there are certainly a lot of them. I just took umbrage to the claim that there were more of them then Christians and Jews.
Of course, location is also a concern. In America, for instance, Muslims are still a relatively small minority. Similarly, Hindus have large numbers worldwide (over 850 million), but the vast majority of them are in India, where I would imagine they are targeted extensively (McDonalds in India doesn't even sell beef).
I thought there was a bit of a mistake there - and the fries were cooked with the help of animal fats including red meat.......
Indeed those sneaky Mc Fryers. My vege ex-girlie wouldn't eat Mc fries because they were cooked in animal fat. She was not a Muslim.
I propose opening a McAllah. The logo would have similar golden arches logo but encrusted with elaborate Arabian filigree. All shops would face Mecca and a free prayer matt with 5 jumbo Mohammed
I think maybe a PR agency would be more useful at this point.

Islam is and always will be the fastest growing religion. so if u bothered to get ur head out of ur ass and bothered to find out the truth u would find out why this is. People arent buying the steroitipical cack that the minority of the world shovels down to us only the dumb ones.
