Wieden and Kennedy wins Vodafone

W&K Amsterdam pulls the prestigious Vodafone account they worked so hard to get and will party tonight ordering caipirinha's at the edge of the bermuda triangle of the Nieuwe Zijds Bar's. Don't dust off the book - they won't be pulling in any new staff, they still have people to lay off in those other cities you know. I tried to get a comment from W&K, but it seems no one is at their desks as this is posted - they must have made a mad dash for the bar already!

Looks like most of them went to O'reilleys instead. Then again - Glasweigans take better to Guiness than fancy brazilian drinks.
To all W&K'ers reading this: The leak is not at W&K so stop worrying. Besides it wasn't "inofficial news" anyway as Vodafone already sent out a pressrelease. So Nyah!
Also, finding my phonenumber is not *meant* to be difficult.
