Dangit, where's my jetpack. It's waaaay past 2K now and all those comics in the fifties promised that we'd all have personal jetpacks by now. And robot dogs. Oh wait, we've got that.

I always loved the movie the Rocketeer and when I got cast in this commercial i went out of my mind!! I got to be the Rocketeer!!!

You are way behind the times. According to the articles in the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's (in Popular Mechanics, etc.), we were supposed to have the jet packs and the flying cars no later than 1980!

Of course, Doctor Who had his own robot dog - K-9, who has recently shown up on "The Adventures of Sarah Jane ", staring the original Sarah Jane Smith, Elizabeth Sladen. (He first appeared with her, sans Doctor, in the "K-9 and Company" special in the 90's[?]).

And yes, we can now own an Aibo, and other such robot dogs.

That's me!! In the Jet pack!!! My friend saw this in the movie theatre before Indiana Jones. I wanna see it!
