Reason I'm not a bazillionaire (I guess)
Here's a silly thing, a lot of peeps ask us to post stuff for money. Here's my reply today to one of them:
Hi Mike
Adland the commercial-archive.com operates out of Sweden, and if we disregard the ethics of paid-to post, and the damage such a thing could do to our well established (12 years) credibility, you'd still be breaking something called the "marketing law" (Marknadsföringslagen) if we write a paid for post without explicitly stating "we're getting paid to say this by the way". Similar laws are in place in the US and the rest of Europe.
Our credibility is worth a lot more to us than you can pay, I assure you, so no - we don't write posts for money and we don't allow other people to post for money.Cheers
Åsk
Yeah, I'm an idiot.

No you're not. I can trust you more than I trust certain trade press mags that keep mentioning their parent companies in editorial. In fact, I've never even seen you favor one agencies work over another, you just look at the ad in each case.
Ever tried charging for the service of adding peoples films? That might work.
No. It seems to make the most sense sure, but to get the good ads here we have to work pretty hard for them (read: we beg) while the so-so ads are showered over us daily. I fear the content would turn pretty bad if we make it a pay-for-deal actually. Striking a balance is hard.
