Was there someone who wanted a copy of Positioning?

Someone around here, some weeks (months?) ago, was looking for the late-1970s book Positioning by Al Ries and Jack Trout. Or was it just a dream?

If whoever-it-was is still there and still wants it, and hasn't picked up the revised edition on Amazon yet, I've just found my old copy and have no further use for it. Feel free to get in touch.

I have to be honest and say it seems to be not much information wrapped in a large amount of hot air. But if that's what you want, hey, who am I to argue? I'm just keen to reduce the book burden in this house.

Are you thinking of this post where someone looks for that and other books (and leaves their email addy)?

Yes, that was probably it. I did do a search, honest, but couldn't find it.

Well, my copy isn't in electronic format as requested, just good old-fashioned dead tree format. But if anyone wants it, shout out.

Well, it didn't show up on "positioning" actually, I can't recall how I found but it took a few goes.

My bookshelf overfloweth else I'd take it off your hands. ,)

Overfloweth would be nice.... (If only I had that little).

I have 2 large bookcases (with glass doors), and 4 other mixed use bookcase-like pieces. The coffee table is covered with books, magazines and DVDs. There are stacks of books in the bedroom (3 places), the living room, the dining room, and the hall. [Note that the VHS tapes and DVD's are also in the hall and in the mixed use bookcase-like things, and in the TV stand].

The majority of my books, magazines, LPs, Videos and comics are in my 10' x 15' x 10' storage space, which also houses some bookshelves and Video cabinets, and some old computers and monitors. (Also, old bills, Xmas trees, various seasons' decorations, extra furniture, and some very old T-shirts [special sources]).

Books and other reading matter occupy pretty much every horizontal surface around here. And I just took delivery of another boxful. Must get rid of at least a few older and less wanted ones as a token gesture before my husband goes berserk. I only found Positioning because I was randomly digging around in an old box.

What's a flat surface? Oh, yeah, the top of the cabinets, where we can't really reach. And only half of them are clear (mostly because the tops of those cabinets aren't sturdy enough to hold anything).

I have 2 more DVD packages on order (Ghost Hunters Season 1 [back-ordered], and Myth Busters Collection 3 [due out on 4/8/08]), and we're planning on getting at least 3 more DVD sets [as of today]. (I also get about 12 magazines per month, down from 22 per month a few years ago).
