you know I didn't know if they really took the Burger King Whopper off the menu or not.
Apparently, only in Las Vegas, NV (USA), and only for 1 day. [And probably only at a select few Burger Kings].
In some versions of the ad, people ordered the Whopper, and got Big Macs, or Wendy's burgers instead - they are shown returning the burgers, telling the manager (?) that they ordered a Whopper, and they better get a Whopper!
Allan...
"Remember, no matter where you go... There you are." (Buckaroo Banzai).
"Hey, barkeep, 2 Rock Over Hip-Hops and 1 Bach Over Vivaldi with ice."
They did. Here in Denmark they took the Whopper off the menu for 24 hours, and there was a riot in Aalborg. People really freaked out.
So, does this mean now that someone calling for the banning of beef can be charged with attempting to incite a riot? ;)
"Happiness is overrated."
Well, here in DK the banning of beef would most certainly incite riots and the Politi would have more than they could handle.
There was a RIOT in Aalborg? You have to be kidding. Please tell me you're kidding. So sad.
Yes, I was kidding. Just having a little fun with Mets82. There was no riot in Aalborg. Not over the whopper. The Danes like to save their rioting for more important issues like last year's Ungdomshus riots in Copenhagen.
