Posting stuff - what goes where?
We have a rather odd system some say, but it makes sense to us.
If you upload a (quicktime) commercial you have a whole bunch of topics to choose from - they might look ornery but they do make sense. Telecoms and dotcoms, drinks, food and eating places - even sway/pro-bono and spec work have their own categories here. Pick one. The only thing that never ever goes here are embedded ads from third party sites. (read: youtube). This part is for our commercial archive only.

It's the 'news' part that has less logical naming at first glance, but don't fret even this system makes sense. Say you have an embedded ad from a third party site (youtube) - put this under virulating on the web. Advertising jokes are not for funny ads but for - wait for it - advertising jokes. Really. Announcement might be a pitch win or a hire. Awards n such is about awards. Ad Critic is for when you actually critique a campaign. Adrants is when you rant. Spotlight on is for interviewing people. See, it makes sense.

Badland is the easiest, either the ad pairing is a direct rip-off and thus a dupliclaim, or it's a spoof or homage, or it's simply an ad that got in trouble and banned.

Do not use more than one drop-down menu at a time. Your post is either a commercial, a Badlander or Adnews. It is not all three.. Yes, I'll have to make it impossible to pick more than one.
Right now there are free tags at the bottom. I'll figure out a way to remove these since they aren't for you the poster, but for adgrunts who view ads (commercials) and need to tag the content in the commercial (ie; dog, wedding, firetruck).
