Do they make two ads?

I've noticed this a lot. A television commercial in Canada runs that has a controversial part, and soon the ad starts running with the controversial part edited out. Is this done on purpose? Is this a case of, "Let's see how long we can show this one before we will have to change it to this one"?

For example, this commercial ran in Canada recently before the overdubbed version came out. Sorry about it being in EwhTube:

Easy on the nuts!?
Pfffft!

Sometimes there are two alternative ads - I don't think in this case though (they just deleted the "nuts" line right?"). Altenatives can be planned or panic-stricken agencies put them together after the fact.

Yeah, just the "easy on the nuts" line got changed. Probably because of the oral sex implication. I wish I had more examples. It just seems to happen a lot. Or, I just noticed it more because I hate censorship so much. When ads get changed for such petty reasons as this one might have been it makes me even more crazy than I already am.
