The Power of Ovaltine

I*ve been drinking it since I was a kid but much more so now that I*m an old codger. The containers don*t last very long after a long day at work, I*ll mix a tall glass consisting of one part milk and three parts Ovaltine. I stir it together until it*s a dark, near-sludge like gravy of cocoa and essential B-vitamins.

Ovaltine. I didn*t drink it as a kid. I never touched the stuff before last month. I was just curious, and I bought some. Now, I am a full-blown Ovaltine junkie. I drink three or four cups of it per day, I mix it in with my tea, I have started cooking with it. I*ve been mixing the chocolate and the regular flavours together. I buy two jars of it at a time. I feel the need to start buying four jars at a time, two jars doesn*t last long enough. I have just one unopened jar left. I need to go out and get more. Ovaltine is my smack. Drinking Ovaltine makes me feel normal.

I weaned my self off Ovaltine with Methodone

Remember Captain Midnight says "Drink your Ovaltine"! even if you have to collect a decoder ring and watch every show to get it.
That type of scare ad doesn*t work; although that one came close. *shudder*
Ovaltine gives me the energy I need to help get through my day. It relaxes me after a hard day. It takes my hunger away. I only drink it hot, and it makes me feel warm inside. It is comforting. I need to be on the Ovaltine. I just want to left alone with my mugs.
