I believe Homer Simpson once made a chair like this. Was it in the Edison episode?

Not everyone comes up with the best ideas under the florescent lights in a cubicle. Sometimes it*s good move to a location you*ve never tried working in before or just change the scenery.

Where are some places where you tend to be the most productive and creative?

I*ll start...

Coffee shop

Outside in the sunshine

In the shower

The beach

My hammock

While cooking

Sipping whiskey at night in my cozy chair

Just like you - the shower too

And obviously whenever I*m out somewhere without pen and paper (which is a disaster since my short term memory sucks) confused

while almost sleeping. Be it when I*ve just hit the snoozebutton or when I*m about to crash for the night - this is where I get my best ideas.

pen and paper next to bed isn*t good - i can never read my sleepy handwriting.

Dabitch I*m the same as you!

My ideas tend to come when I really want to be asleep

I*m helping a firend out at the mo working nights and when I get home and try to sleep a torrent of ideas come to wake me up and drive me crazy! But the pen next to the bed helps me get it out my system - then when I wake up i have a great task of trying to understand what I meant by *bonsai trees, brass rubbing and tidy chest* actually mean

And people wonder why we*re insomniacs.

Had a roomate in college who once asked me (at four in the morning) "Does ART keep you awake?". (she thought that*s what I was majoring in) and I said.. hmmm... Why? And she said "because music keeps me awake." (her major) she then hummed herself to sleep in perfect tune to the radio which was on some R&B station. I probably never slept in college.

I believe I was actually most creative in my bedroom at my old house. I always did all my work there and ever since I moved (4 years ago) I just don*t get the same feeling and inspiration. Weird huh?

Wherever I am closest to whatever deadline I have.

More often than not, I get some kick-ass ideas in the bathroom! Not washing my hands in the sink, not at the urinal...but on the toilet!

When things flow - they flow eh? lol

A little update to my list.

Was on the john last night and KAPOW it happened. No not that - but I had the idea for a client that has been troubleing me for a week now.

The toilet is great

It makes you wonder if the best creative agencies in the world have great bathrooms?
