I bloody hate politics. If politics weren*t involved I*d still be working at [agency we shall not name here]. I dug the clients, I dug most of my collegues, I dug the location - but the politics every day - couldn*t stand it. It was simply impossible to get anything done!

All true - and I sure wish I could get paid for "thinking" instead of
being good at politics. In most cases the creative department didn*t leave the building voluntarily, btw.
