Goodby Silverstein & Partners just did a spectacular commercial spot for Hewlitt Packard. They*re using Shaun White as the poster boy for their campaign that utilizes the tag line "The Computer is Personal again". The spot says "I pretty much have a Random Life, You never know where the snow is gonna fall."

I love the spot. I think the concept is fresh but they did a great job of executing a piece that pleases a demographic that isn*t easy to please. I*m a motion graphics designer, so I love the compositing. But you have to appreciate how well the copy is written. It*s really subtle, but the lingo is just right and it cleverly says everything Hewlitt Packard wants you to know about their lap tops.



Who better than Shaun White, for the young generation to envy, that happens to need a portable computer to entertain a busy modern lifestyle.
