I came across the American Express commercials featuring film directors?? Not co-branded, of course, but pretty interesting advertisements, I guess made in conjunction with the Tribeca Film Festival. The Wes Anderson one is especially fascinating, as he actually parodies a Truffaut film which is itself a parody of cinema.
Wow. Anyway... Cool!

Hello friends,
I am trying to take a closer look at "cobranded" advertisements, figure out what works, what doesn*t, and generally split them up into different categories or types.
I have started tagging advertisements I come across in the archive with "cobranded," and if any of you come across an ad that qualifies, or upload one, it would be awesome if you could tag it.
Cobranded advertising is really weird.
