Verizon Is Watching...

I saw an ad in the NYC Subway last week for the Verizon Yellow Pages that read

"We know that you know that we know a good paranoia specialist."

[Disclamer It might read slightly differently, but that is at least about 90% verbatim]



I was astounded that Verizon would overlook the implications of such an ad as the US Government*s Domestic Spying Program is coming under increasing scrutiny eek . AT&T has been implicated in a lawsuit filed by The Electronic Frontier Foundation for alleged cooperation with the government and the domestic spying program, and there is speculation abound about other companies involved with the spying efforts.



Anyways, I haven*t seen it again and I can*t find it online. Has anyone else come across this ad? Anyone find this a bit eerie?
