Hi all,

I*m a freelance producer in Los Angeles working with a DGA director who is signed at a bi-costal US (AICP) production company. We*re trying to find a great script to produce and I*ve been sent off to help locate some candidate boards.

If you have something great that you*d like to possibly see made, I*d be very interested in having a look. I can provide you with a link to the director*s work and more details if you*re game. A previous spot that he did as spec was featured in SHOOT*s "Best Work You May Never See" showcase a while back.

I*m open to looking at a wide variety of things but let me give you a better idea of what he*s after - something highly visual, possibly gritty. "European" - literally or in feel - is a plus. No broad comedy. Subtle, dry, dark - all good. But most important is just a great idea, simple and pure.

The amount of involvement is up to you -- we prefer to produce this as an actual job, ie., conference calls, pre-pro, etc. where the creative(s) are involved 110% - after all, it*s your idea. Otherwise if your schedule/distance/preference dictates less involvement that can work also.

You can email me at stefanie_pringle@yahoo.com

Thank you in advance.

Linked "dead scripts thread"

Okay I haven*t heard from her after one email saying that I deserved a reply but she had been busy. And that she liked the scripts and was going to discuss it with the producer. Now weeks have passed and no news. Can Dabitch or CaffieneGoddess discover where the person went poof!

oh, and I didn*t email her any scripts. I have an aversion to yahoo emails. I thought about it though.

Yes linking to the thread is fine, I don*t want to bore everyone with it.

Yes this is smelling bad but I sent my scripts thinking that you had sent some ...but you were much wiser.

Yes the internet does provide a safe haven for scamsters doesn*t it, anyway no worries. I just got excited for a while.

Take care.
