Career wise, it*s best not to burn copyright bridges, it*ll come and bite you in the ass later. Remember we make OUR living much the same way as that musician who wrote the song.

What should I do with a brand new viral film

depends, do you have seeding money in your budget? Kontraband and such places get a lot of eyeballs.
naturally, if it*s an ad you can send it to us too, which costs nothing (email) or a stamp (snail-mailed tape/DVD)

Depends on how you want to go about things. With companies like goviral.dk you*ll have your film tracked so you know how many saw it, how many emailed it. how many downloaded it (regardless if the film is lifted from the seeding place and posted on some random bloggers homepage - the film will still "phone home" and tell you who*s watching).
If you couldn*t care less about pretty data, upload to google video, youtube and putfile for free and call it a day.

well after a little research and asking around
im pretty sure its possible to get a viral film spread
without using a fancy viral company....
but now a new problem has come up....
the film uses a famous song and the royalties
cost 1500€ to buy out for the internet...
the company cant afford that....
the question is do we just do it anyway?
