Rate the Superbowl Ads via AdPulse
The ads of course!
No other event even comes close - but the Oscars are a godo contendr for the "girlie" ads, it*s where all the skincare, makeup, fashion stuff premieres. Not quite as exiting as watching fartjokes in beer ads. hehehe. ;P
well anyway, welcome, n00b, consider yourself lovingly hazed.

Through MSU Ad Pulse, advertising and marketing professionals, professors and students may participate in a one-hour window for voting on the ads beginning at the two-minute warning and ending thirty minutes after the conclusion of the game at http//adpulse.msu.edu.
I invite professors, professionals and students from around the globe to answer questions such as which ads aired during the game they thought were the most creative, best-produced and most engaging. Respondents also will be asked for their views on which ad is most likely to drive sales and which one represents the worst investment.
Hey it*ll be fun!
Funny...there*s a place to do that here too. eek
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when our hard work, year after year, is completly ignored. rolleyes heh heh heh
Anyway, YES we*ll be DOING IT AGAIN this year, right after the bowl, we post the all ads, we rate the ads, and y*all can rate them as well as all the other bowl ads, and every damn ad in the entire archive. all 30k of them! All 33 years of superbowl ads! It*ll be FUN!
But y*all knew that already right? razz
Sorry, as a lowly newbie I haven*t found my way yet. I can*t wait to see those ads and vote! I read an editorial a couple of years ago by George Will that said he loved professional football because it was absolutely frivolous. And because nothing that happened on the field really mattered in the balance of things, you could sit back and just enjoy it. I think of the Super Bowl in much the same way. It is all fun from the pre-game, to the game, to the ads, to the water-cooler talk the next day. Do you know of any other media event where the advertising attracts as much interest as does the game? Isn*t it the game that is suppose to attract an audience for the ads? It seems that the ads attract their own audience - - - how rare?! That is why there is such a premium to be paid and we can*t wait to see what they have in store for us! What do you most like about the Super Bowl? The game? The ads? The pre-game? The hoopla? The halftime show? The "bus" going home to Detroit?
