Maybe he invested in a company that went bust. wink

I*ve read so many articles about the new agency he*s starting. Before he*s even given a name to it he*s managed to take a huge client from his former employer along with a few of their employees. Not only is he a great ad man but his salesmanship is impressive.

This the second time today that I have seen Lowes referred to as Franks "employer".

People do know that Franks name is on the door because he founded the place back in 81... right?

"employer" doesn*t srike me as the right word whe Frank is one of the original 6. Anyway, the other place I read the term "employer" used someone was miffed that Frank "stole Tesco*s from his employer".

stole Tesco*s? what the hell? So he left and he took his own client with him. Color me not at all suprised.

full disclosure did one of my placemets at Lowe, when it was still called Lowe Howard Spink.

I can*t say I fully agree with his business ethics but I have to hand it to him, when he wants something he goes after it. I*m interested to see what his new agency is going to put out--he has to find a name for it first though. I found some funny ones here

I know what you mean but the media tends to be biased and maybe for lack of a better word they used "employer." But seriously, aren*t you curious to see what his next move is? And why did he decide to come of out of retirement after two years?I read that he*s not going to play that active a role in his new agency but his name will still be on the door. ; )

I haven*t seen it in "the media", I*ve only seen the term used in user created content, such as this forum here (you!) and as comments to someone elses blog posting.

Fuck knows why he is returning to work when he could be sipping Martinis day in and day out.
