Just received the following info...

The song in the commercial is called Gift Exchange. It was written specifically for Southern Comfort by Matt Pence of Centromatic.

In the advert were everyone s reciving bad gifts and then one guy gets Southern Comfort an everybody runs over to him does anybody know what song it is that is playing, it is like sort of country and is a Christmas song as it says "Merry Cristmas mama" or something similar in the few lyrics which are sung during the time of the advert.

EDITThe advert is in England, im not sure but i presume it will be in the US aswell, and im preety sure it has been used in previous Christmas ad campaigns by Southern Comfort

It sounds original. Plus, if you google the lyrics, you won*t find anything.....and google always finds some thing if it exists.
