Probably your quicktime is to blame. See FAQ - here are the questions and answers relevant to you.
I can*t see the image on commercials - help! explains mapping problems, missing components and where you can test for that and lots of other stuff. the shortcut to fixing anything is to plain reinstall Quicktime.

I cannot get the Welch*s Light commercial with the little girl. It wont work. Im doing a project and i need it very badly.
