just noticed this on the web, they are an interactive agency, i think, and maybe getting a channel on sky tv just doing advetising, here* the link.
can*t say i*d watch a channel full of ads, unless there*s some mind blowing alternative way of doing it..i won*t hold my breath.

I think you*ll find that
- they*ve brought / leased a heap of satellite bandwidth to offer to advertisers who want to do iTV ads.
-then gone through a long, painful negotiation process with the UK satellite TV operator(s) - Sky? to allow Sky viewers *red button access* to an advertisers iTV ad and jump off to the Zip TV platform to be served the iTV enhanced ad content.
-it removes the perceived stranglehold that satellite operators / broadcasters have when it comes to not just selling the usual TVC *spots*, but also onselling the *jump-off bandwidth" for iTV enabled / enhanced ads.
-it*s a gutsy, ballsy move and it might just pay off in the end. They aren*t really focused on doing the 24 hour a day *watch an ad* channel, I think it may just be that they*ve got enough ads to do it smile
..... and after all of that, I may be wrong! smile
