A new ad for Airheads cotton Candy bubble gum aired (haha) recently on Cartoon Network. (USA-only, I think?)

I think it*s a daytime kind of ad, not the kind that ends up on Adult Swim.

Thanks!

Could it have been Bubble Tape, and not Airheads?

Yeah, the flavor is Bubble Tape, airheads does fruity stuff razz

Nope, that isn*t the ad.

This IS an Airheads ad, it*s for Airheads Cotton Candy Bubblegum.

I*m sure it*s not bubble tape because it did that whole head-balloon thing. \

You can see the new type of gum at www.airheads.com, specifically http//www.airheads.com/cottoncandy/Flash.htm . .. which sadly has the older ad, but not the newer one.

Thanks for posting that new ad, though. That*s another one I saw but forgot to look for.

I found the new ad again on Cartoon Network. (It might be showing elsewhere more often?)

The commercial takes place in a circus, and starts with some lizardman thing.

Okay, I have just about confirmed this

The commercial ran LAST night at about the same time, and it just ran NOW at about the same time.

Maybe it*s in this one-hour block / 30-minute block somewhere?

If any ad-catching grunts can grab it for me, I"ll be grateful. <D!

Dude, you can watch this spot to your heart*s content at their website.

http//airheads.com/cottoncandy/Flash.htm

After the flash intro, click on the "view the commercial" button at the bottom of the page, in your choice of formats.

Question Is there something about you and this commercial that we should know about? Just curious.

Well..er.. Claymore, about that commercial, read one of my previous replies about the website.

For your question, it*s this

I know you guys are busy, and that you can*t catch ALL the ads on TV, but reasonably, this "advert" searching thing is for a reason

If somebody wants an ad, and you guys can get it... Well, why not if I can make it convenient or easy? o_o I*ve posted time areas where I think the ads would be posted as well.. I figure that would help out. If you guys get the chance to do me a favor, I want to make it easy on you, right?

I*ve posted requests before about commercials, and haven*t gotten any replies.. I also don*t think any of the commericals I*ve requested got posted... Now I*m just talking up a bit more about it since somebody had replied. .. but now it seems like I have a total ad-boner here or something? oops lol

So I watch a lot of Cartoon Network at my age... Don*t hate me? lol

EDIT (I deleted the old post, didn*t know that button meant *edit* o_o!) (I mean, like, all my previous requests were also vague and in some cases, tough. I mean, early 90s ad? I wasn*t even on the internet back then.. I*m trying to be more specific this time?)

Don*t take it the wrong way, Mr. Thumb - I was just curious as to what all the hubbub was about, as you seemed quite enthusiastic about it - like, if you were involved in the spot*s creation, if there was a cool story behind it, or if it starred Tea Leoni or something. That*s all.

Although the spot in question isn*t in the archive at this time, I thought that finding it available on their very own site and pointing you towards it would be helpful. When possible, if a requested ad isn*t here, we try to find it elsewhere for people and send them in that direction. My adland buds and I do this in our free time separate from our regular gigs, so we find out what we can for people, but we can*t do everything.

And don*t worry, I*m a Cartoon Net fan myself, ever since SGC2C first aired in the 90s. I hope their Adult Swim continues to kick arse, for that brand of humour is getting harder and harder to find in today*s increasingly tense world.

So keep sending in those questions - if we don*t come up with the answer for you, there*s always a chance that someone else in the forum will - that*s what makes it a forum as well as a community.

Cheers,

Claymore grin
