I*m trying to find a commercial in which a bunch of monkeys are trying to fix a transmission by banging on it with baseball bats. It was in the *States in like the 80*s, and I think it was for Aamco or Maaco.
Can anyone verify this? I don*t necessarily need the footage--I just need to find out if it was AAMCO or not. This is for a T-Shirt design I*m putting together. Any leads are greatly appreciated.

Actually it looks like you guys verified my info with the same site that I got mine from... Adland123, I think that*s the same search that I used to find the lead in the first place.
If anyone out there has actually seen the advert firsthand, give me a shout...
Otherwise, I think I*m going to go ahead with the concept anyway. Bill, I can do that--Is there anyway to attach a picture with a post?

I consider myself pretty good at Trivia and Nostalgia, so my buddies who work here at The UN with me in UN Radio asked if I had seen this Aamco TV Spot with the monkeys/chimps beating a transmission with wiffle bats - but I had never seen it...yet.
