The Best Commercials You*ve Never Seen (and some ...

On another topic, I was watching "The Best Commercials You*ve Never Seen" on TV. One commercial was black and white and looked like the Tacoma Bridge. Background music was loudly playing and the bridge was swaying to the music. A person ran from the bridge. The commercial zoomed in to a man in a car on the bridge and the man turned his sound system off, saying, "Sorry." The bridge stopped swaying and the Pioneer logo came on the screen. It was a very funny ad that one. It can be found a stills in the CA annual from 1995, and If I remember correctly it did win a Clio? AT least it was shortlisted, I nearly applauded my hands bloody at it.

razz

The footage of the rocking bridge was stock as it actually happened!

yes I know, but it was in the 1940*s or perhaps even the 30*s wasn*t it? age-old anyway.

That*s the best part of the merge to the current long haired dude in his car with Pioneer stereo, saying "oh, sorry" like a classic surfer dude. smile Makes it even funnier somehow, when the bridge has a dated car on it, and so forth.
