Guy in VH1 Commercials

Okay, never mind. I found him. His name is John Hawkes and he was in Identity. I think I probably remembered him from The Perfect Storm. He is going to have a new music anthology show on VH1 soon, so the commercials were probably for that.

This has been bugging me for a while...
I saw a couple of VH1 commercials that featured a guy who looked really familiar, I just don*t know what he*s from. I saw the commercials in the middle of March 2003. They might have aired around the time of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The commercials just had the guy talking to the camera about different things in music. I don*t remember what they were advertising specifically, I think it was just VH1 in general. The guy usually wore a leather coat and had shaggy hair and a mustache. He looks so familiar, like he*s an actor from somewhere-I just can*t think where. Please help!
