Looking for an old commercial Cant Rember The Company

Clay, I can*t believe you have a copy of that commercial! Aliens will study your ad-rag commercial archives to understand the nature of humans one day!

It was a commercial from the late eighties for early ninties. It had an old seventies model Cadillac driving down a two lane road in a no passing zone moving at idle speed. An old woman driving with her husband in passenger seat. A guy in a car is late for a meeting or something and and cant pass them. Then it goes back to the Cadillac where the old man is yelling at his wife YOUR DRIVING LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL YOUR GOING TO KILL US. That*s about all I can remember.....Thanks for Your Help Coby confused

I was looking for this ad myself. I believe it was for a short lived Fairfield Inn ad campaign. It was one of the funniest ads ever but I am sure the AARP called to have it removed.

It was something about business people saving time or something. The business guy is stuck behind this old couple on a road with no passing. They are going like 1 MPH and the wife screams "SLOW DOWN...YOU*RE GOING LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL". Then there is this camera shot of the tires barely moving and slow creeping sound of the tires on the pavement that just makes the ad great. The woman screams something else like "Are you trying to kill us" , not sure. Wish I could find it, classic!

Bob was right - it was for Fairfield Inn, but you both got a bit confused between "Hell" and "Hades" over time.

Anyway.. You were smart to ask about it here - we now have it posted in all its glory within the commercial archive.

Just search for

Fairfield Inn - No Passing Zone (modern classic) - 030 (USA)

This puppy*s one of my faves. Great spot.

-Clay cool

Claymore thanks for adding that commercial !

I just checked it out and swear that there was a different version but it was still great. Maybe my memory is bad but I could have swore that it was "Bat out of Hell" in the one that I remember and there was shot of a Fairfield Inn at the end.

Do you know what year that was?

... me and Claymore have been doing our best guesstimations, but the exact year is unsure. frown sorry.

My dollar goes for "1999" though.
