Sending in your work TIPS!
Dreadfully sorry to have to bore y'all to tears with some common sense here, but it seems all of it has evaporated in the summer sun. ;)
I got a cranky email from someone who demanded to know why we hadn't published an article on their new kewl campaign. Gee, Einstein, how'sabout you submit your campaign and give us a chance to first, aye?
See the link "contact - news tips" in the top left navigation box 'deeper adland'? It spells out our email, hostmaster AT ad-rag.com (I'm sure you're clever enough to figure out what to replace that AT with). PR agents, adgrunts in dire need of help and countless spammers have figured out how to operate their email programs, so creatives it's time you do too. Simply direct a mail to that address, attach your latest gem of a poster campaign, ambient brilliance, press ad or even a commercial, with credits - and we'll post it provided it's not utter crap. Even then, we might post it just to mock it. ;9
For commercials, sending us tapes is cool too, via snailmail - see the link send in your reels for more info.
Another common sense tip, put the text in the email. Created text .jpgs, .docs or .pdf's is just wasting everyones time. Email was designed to carry text, don't make it more complicated than it has to be. Mmmmkay? Thanks. Only attach stuff that is not text, like images, sound or movie files.
