Xmas at Mother

Mother's contribution to Xmas 2000 is now at chrischristmasrodriguez.com

Or visit Mother at motherlondon.com

Dabitch adds: Mark Waites from Mother lets us know that the ads were co-director by Peluca (out of Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Mother, and "we did it because if you're going to do an agency Xmas card why not produce one that gets talked about." It is very funny indedeed and very well done - big cheers for Chris Christmas Rodriguez - he's got my vote!

update - years later we added the films to the archive as Mothers website shut down & stopped serving the films. Simply search for them.

This short films are brilliant! Thanks for showing us to this link - I emailed it as a christmas greeting to all my friends (And enemies)

And a few days later - shots.net just caught on... http://www.shots.net/mailnews.cfm?r=411

"why not produce one that gets talked about." he says ey?
Is he admitting to shocking for shockings sake? Is that how they make their awardwinning ads?

Sensitive or Jelous?
How do you mean "shocking for shockings sake"? The "brief" was to create a Christmasgreeting - I assume to send to clients, friends and other interested parties. These ads may not be in *your* spirit of Christmas, but they certanly are a christmasgreeting. They have gotten attention here, in Shots, I'm sure in Campaign and are sent across the web via personal emails like wildfire.... Have they not acheived their goal then?
Merry Xmas Grinch.
