what is with these bizarre sandwich commercials? Did Subway have to "outdo" the wolf suckling of Quiznos?
I know as soon as I saw the 70's gay porn star guy walking down the staircase that something was up.
Is it entertaining? I guess, in a train-wreck 10-car pile up kind of way.
Does it make me want to go eat a Subway sandwich? No, it makes me want to go scrub my eyes with AJAX.
yeah, weird.
I'm guessing the joke is "..well if she gets to use the 'it's okay I had subway' exscuse, then I can use it too!".
But uh, it looks more like an exscuse to stick a gezer wearing a cheerleader outfit dancing to "Hey Mickey" in a commercial. I don't see the funny (in relation to product).
mebbe i'm getting old. that joke is too tho.
Sun Times doesn't like t either.
Okay... eew... i can't believe that i was subjected to such a monstrosity. That in no way makes me want to eat a subway sandwich... nor does it make me feel bad when i go out and have fatty foods. or rather it doesn't make me feel any worse than i already do.
I gotta say, I loved the spot. It's fresh for the category. I mean, sure it's weird and it doesn't make me want to buy a sandwich, but at least its memorable. The Jared stuff was getting too boring.
Who is the lady in that commercial?
She coerced me into paying $2 to dabitch.. =D
