Motorola "Up-upgrade" (2017) :30 (France)

This is Motorola's response video to Samsung’s Upgrade to Galaxy "Growing Up" ad that playfully encourages people to ‘Up-upgrade’ to the company’s innovative moto z family of smartphones and moto mods instead of the latest Galaxy Note 8.

And while the original Samsung ad shows a iPhone fan boy finally rejecting Apple for a Galaxy, the kind like his girlfriend has, Motorola continued that story by showing what happens when the guy gets home with the Galaxy only to be upstaged once again. The fact this ad was produced less than two weeks after Samsung's spot is impressive. Maybe some people will like the idea of modding their phone with a projector is that can turn any flat wall into a 70” big screen, or a 360° camera or JBL SoundBoost speakers it does seem like yet another thing to carry and it does feel like Motorola saying "don't forget about us, we've got cool phones, too."

Hopefully Samsung or Apple (or both) will make a response video this response video and then we can sit back and watch brands talk trash about each other.
